PhD
Bio
Dr. Lalit Kaurani is a Senior Research Scientist at German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases (DZNE) in University of Göttingen with Prof. Dr. Andre Fischer, Aging and Cognitive diseases Lab, Dept. Epigenetic Mechanisms of Neurodegerenative Diseases.
He works in neuro-epigenetics field. He studies epigenome changes during the pathogenesis of neurodegenerative and neuropsychiatric diseases.
He is interested in the mechanism that play a significant role in pathogenesis of Alzheimer, Schizophrenia and depression disorder. Using transciptomic, smallRNAome sequencing and single cell RNA sequencing with neuronal cell culture and mice behavior experiments, he tries to observe epigenome plasticity in neurodegenerative and neuropsychiatric diseases.
